The newest update revolves around the other world/Daemon-storyline. It's a smaller branch, but I think eventually will be an interesting and important one for the entire story. This new update does not finish this storyline, but it does move it forward quite a bit, giving that path a bit more meat. How to get to the new content? In order to get to the new content, you simply need to explore the Mage-path. Then, when offered to learn a school of magic, proceed with the Daemonology tree. When a voice reaches out to you in the void, react to it. After that, everything should play out as per usual.
