Dear friends, the day has come! It is with great pleasure that I present you a demo of my new project. Some may consider it to be a remake of my very first game – “Bright Future”, that many of you liked. The new game is called “Bright Past” and is also based on the concept of an open-world sandbox with a main storyline. However, this time we are doing it on a completely different level! In the current version you can meet the main characters, learn about their background and game setting in general.
As you can see in the screenshot, the game will take place in the modern world. The main character will be a girl. The genre of the project can be described as a sandbox with elements of the quest an RPG.
- Extract to desired location.
- Click on "Bright_Past.exe" to start playing.
- This is a special update for me because this version will feature original music tracks. Including songs that Alex and the band perform at concerts. Before this, I used random music from the Internet without caring about copyright, but it's time to change that. So far I have replaced only part of the music. I look forward to your feedback on how the new songs will sound from the lips of Alex and Alisa.
- The branch with Ruby has been reset. I've added a few new scenes. Now the beginning of a relationship with a red-haired beauty will be more romantic. I also expanded and transformed some of the old scenes with her.
- I also updated the early scenes with Valerie (pizza event and trio with Ruby)
- After the final webcam event, Alex will be able to spend the night with Barbara. And not only to spend the night...
- The smartphone interface has been completely redesigned. Now it looks more like a modern phone. I also added some new features:
- The stats window, NPC menu and inventory items have also been improved. Now, I think it will be more convenient for you to use them.
- Changed main screen UI. Many icons now have tooltips to reduce confusion.
- When you start the game you will see a loading bar

- New bus and metro icons

- Some animations were not displayed. This has been fixed

Switching the language:
To change the language, click on the flag icon (in the lower left corner) to open a window with language selection. English is selected by default. In the window that appears (above and to the right of the mod window), select the language you want using the corresponding country flag icon.
Switching the language only changes the words inside the window mod and does not affect the language switch in the game.
The mod window opens/closes with hotkeys "C" or "K".
The mod contains the following buttons:

You can toggle these options back and forth. If the button is gray/white, it means that you can trigger a certain condition by pressing the button, for example: pregnancy, stress, nausea, and so on. If you already have stress, the button will become colored in fashion. This means that pressing the button will remove the state and it will become gray/white again.
There are 2 buttons that don't toggle the state, only reset it to 0:
Hunger and Sleep. This means that if you are hungry or want to sleep, the Hunger and Sleep buttons will turn red. Clicking on them will reset Sleep and Hunger to 0.
