Release of the New Game Version

The new version of the game is finally here! We took an extra day due to a cloud issue, but we’re thrilled to announce that the update is now live.What’s new and what didn’t make it?

Miyoko Rework

The game has received a brand-new GUI, which we plan to keep, though we’ll continue making updates as needed. If you spot any bugs, please don’t hesitate to let us know.Miyoko has finally received her long-awaited rework. We’ll still be making a few tweaks to the Karaoke scene, which was an attempt to improve the art, but in the end, we’ve decided to stick with our original style. Her story has also been expanded with a hotel scene, and here’s what you can look forward to:
  • a new groping scene,
  • a new BJ scene,
  • a new Karaoke scene with an additional 10 sequences,
  • a brand-new hotel scene.

Kotone Night Events

Kotone will be getting special, spicy scenes on in-game Fridays, Mondays, Wednesdays, and another Friday. These scenes will trigger automatically when you go to sleep. We’re planning to continue these scenes and home events, with an expansion for Kanae coming in version 0.4.

Animations

We’re taking a short break from other content to focus on Fuka, who will receive 3 fully animated sequences on the romantic path. We’ve got another 3 ready to go later this month, and our goal is to have Fuka fully animated by the end of next month, along with 50% of Miyoko’s scenes. These animations are available for higher Patreon tiers.

Shop Update

Sonata has also received new scenes in the shop, specifically a revamped groping scene, along with the addition of a sex scene.A total of 4 new characters have been added to the game, though one of them will make their debut in version 3.2 alongside the release of the new storyline.

Current State of the Game

We’re still ironing out bugs in the Godot version, but we’ve managed to fix around 80% of them. We’re confident that most critical bugs will be resolved within the month. The save system is still giving us trouble, with intermittent issues that have made debugging extremely challenging. We’ve also been struggling with version management and text changes, so starting with the next update, older saves (or saves from a different version) will be locked if necessary. If everything goes smoothly, saves will be transferable. To speed up gameplay, we’ll also introduce a skip feature for the beginning of the game.We haven’t made much progress on the story yet, as budget constraints have slowed things down. Over the next four months, we’ll be focusing on essential rewrites and scene fixes, which will give us the breathing room to properly dive into the story. So, while future updates will include plenty of new content and mechanics, the story portions may be shorter, and older sections will be gradually rewritten. You’ll see the first differences in version 3.5.

Older Artwork

Like with Miyoko, we’ll now focus on updating the last 2-3 older artworks. After that, we’ll stop redrawing old art and shift entirely to creating new ones.You can expect the next update later this month.

Apology and Communication Breakdown

The release of the new version was, unfortunately, as hectic as usual. We realize that this is no longer acceptable, and moving forward, we are committed to meeting deadlines and keeping promises. This time around, there was a significant communication breakdown, leading to more bugs than we anticipated, as well as the absence of 75% of our team due to illnesses and vacations. Even in crisis situations like this, communication should remain top-notch, and we’ll be implementing improvements to ensure this doesn’t happen again, starting today.We sincerely apologize for the delay and poor communication.
