Less Grinding Mod Installation:
Windows, Mac, and probably Linux:
1. Acquire the game and extract to your desired location.
2. Download UnRen-forall (or whatever your preferred unren program is or which is appropriate for your OS) and place the bat in the Town of Magic main folder (where the exe is)
3. Run your UnRen program, extract only the rpa files, and choose to delete the rpa files when prompted (or manually delete them if your unren program doesn't have the prompt)
4. Download the mod, place it in the Town of Magic main folder, right-click, and choose "extract here"
-optional- If you only want the grind-reduction aspect, open the 'game' folder and delete [initiate_variables_clothes.rpy] and [renpy_reset_day.rpy].
5. Run the game. It'll take a little longer to start when first run after installing the patch, so don't panic.
Android:
It might work through Joiplay? I don't know if there are any unren programs for mobile though.
Less Grinding Mod Features:
-Underwear and nude and commando/braless are added as separate outfits in the equip screen. Nude still has an invisible, strippable layer. *Underwear-only is bugged as of v0.65.004. I've removed it but left the framework in place should it ever magically fix itself (or the game reaches full release and it makes more sense to go all-in on the mod).*
- Battle rewards (gold, XP, SP) are increased by around 50%.
- The common chest base-probability was reduced by 60%. Chests still spawn at the same rate, but you're far less likely to need to actively grind an area multiple times to get all the rare drops.
- Enemies which can cum do so twice as fast.
- You can install just the grind-reducing aspect. This makes your save fully forwards compatible so you don't need to wait on me if you want to play new updates asap.To-Do (if I ever have time):
- Make cursed equipment affect Nel? It's low. low priority though since I'm a bad programmer.
- Figure out a more elegant way to increase battle rewards instead of just editing each enemy's entry. Editing the rewards formula didn't seem to do anything.
- Make all equipment toggle-able? It'd be nice to have the option to go commando without needing to add a second copy of all trousers/skirts, but simply setting each piece of clothing to toggle-able makes the strip mechanic bug out.
- Scratch that, I'm just going to add a second copy of most tops and bottoms so you can go braless/commando.
- Clean things up so only the game's base images are used. Done, but legacy saves don't update.
- Maybe add a bracelet or something which significantly increases cooldown and arcane. Done, but it's an invisible hat.
- Trouble-shoot adding an Android version, since it's unfortunately more involved than simply clicking "export". Non-viable, since I now directly edit the game files instead of using Renpy.
Less Grinding Mod Additional Notes:
Uninstallation: If you for some reason don't like this mod, you can't actually uninstall it since Town of Magic won't let you load a save from a game with a "higher" version number. I can make a "clean-up" mod which removes the extra costumes if there's demand, but it's way easier to simply make a new save when you start using the mod (there are 54 save slots after all). You can then just delete the modded game and extract a clean copy since saves are persistent.
Outfits Only: Install the mod, then go into the ~/Town_of_Magic/game folder and delete procedures.rpy, location.rpy, and initialize_variables_enemies.rpy.
Grind-Reduction Only: Install the mod, then go into the ~/Town_of_Magic/game folder and delete renpy_reset_day.rpy and initialize_variables_clothes.rpy. This will also result in your savefile being forward compatible so you can play each new bugfix or release as soon as it drops (albeit with the normal grinding restored).

Since I already have this thread, I figured it'd be handy to store saves here too, as a way to trial the mod without risking your saves or in case you lose your saves. Note that these save files are only compatible with the modded game.
0.68.003a-EoC_save: End of content. Missing 1 event, 1 secret event, and 1 Glace event, but I can't be bothered to hunt for events the bartender won't tell me about and Glace's fight is straight bs. The save is on page 4, slot 1.
